My little Palico companion *Scrapper*. I saved him the jaws of a thrashing beast and now he’s by my side with his aviator cap and tools at the ready. Ready to hunt the dinosaurs invading Old Tucson!

Wild Wild West Con is next weekend and this year’s theme is “Robots vs Dinosaurs”. An idea hit me kind of last minute to make a Monster Hunter style weapon and go Dino hunting. A friend suggested the Ravager Blade as an iconic great sword and shortly after, I knew I was going to have to make a Palico to go with it.

So Scrapper started as a chew toy, hence the “saved from a beast” bit. I detached his feet, made him some coveralls, and made a little leather cap. Even got some kiddy play tools too that I’m gonna attach to his paws.
