WOW that is so very happy, and shi's just lovin' that airborne (while it lasts)! The low-key color of this has been awesome to watch unfold, it really speaks winter and channels energy into the lines you're so grand at.

Yes, persian dragons are in Persian mythology, but they're notsomuch played up as grand, fantastic beast as they are simply part of the animal kingdom. Along those lines, you can find them in girift-o gir art motifs, "give and take"s, images of animals fighting for food&survival and there's the dragon, subject to Darwinism, living and dying like anyone else.
In Zoroastrianism, Angra Mainyu made and used them to put stars in Spenta Mainyu's 'perfect' clear sky; They were the spreaders of Chaos elements there.
