I recently had a friend here on FA gift me a piece of art in a random act of kindness. I am passing it along. I was trying my hand at making something I hadn't really done before, and that is draw something realistic. This is the result. I made it for 
furnpixels's birthday coming this next Sunday. I'm not nearly as good an artist as FurNPixels, but I hope she appreciates the effort. As usual, Draconis looks over my shoulder and tells me to do the impossible. Go give her a shout for her birthday. I think she needs the good cheer.

Ahhhh!! Thank you! This is hilarious and cute I have to make a derpcat sona now like my avatar seriously though this has really made my night. Thank you for the cheer-up. You did a really good job with the fur textures and eyes, you should do more realistic art if it ever interests you :D

It looks better... from a distance. lol I keep learning stuff in Photoshop and was trying a technique that I hadn't done before. I was working with a fur texture brush made from an image of real fur. I didn't think it was too bad an effort, considering I did this with a mouse.
