Joke art to test out if i could draw ships that i don't ship and make it look convincing enough to be taken serious. I think i passed (judging by reactions)

It was mainly done for fun to ship 2 characters that don't fit together, and also kinda to see what kind of reactions i would get (was prepared and maybe baiting some hate).

I got varied reactions, most i was expecting, like hate and the typical cringe comments, but i was pleasantly surprised some people genuinly loved it and found it adorable. I thanked them and actually made the piece worth more in terms of satisfaction for me.

In a way a test if i could draw things i would normally be maybe uncomfortable with? If i change my mindset when drawing stuff like this, it might be easier to accept more varied type of commissions possibly in the future.

Was inspired by a classmate who openly told others he made suggestive/fetish drawings for commissions and gave examples. His opinion was a healthy one, finding humor in it but also respecting the wishes of the other people, not ridiculing them but just seeing it as another interest.

I hope this story doesn't sound shady, and my apologies if anyone finds this insulting in any way.
I also hope i judged the maturity correct, is suggested ship considered general?
