I sketched Jiro a while back :) There's a lot about creating him that was pretty necessary and I could explain I suppose in part (jfc this is gonna sound like a break-up letter to myself):


I have a tradition of making fursona's to perpetuate characteristics that I wish to improve upon myself and become more like. This tradition was through all past sona's, however, and Momobeda is part of that tradition as well.

The ideal behind Momobeda (character) is that he's very kind, loving, and thinks a lot before he speaks. He's very patient and kind to people but hard on the problem. He enjoys making others happy as he creates and with the two Brand markings on his ring finger, are promises. To love others and himself, unconditionally.

The very fact that I made Momobeda, was a goal to set for myself to remind myself of what kind of person I want to be. After a few years of having him, I am used to still being called Momo/Momobeda and that's fine. In a way, it'll always be a reminder of what kind of person I want to grow to be. My pedestal goal.

I feel unworthy to continue to have Momobeda as my main fursona. He represets a much better person I could be but of course I will still chase the goal to be that person who does deserve to be him.

In the mean-time, I have made Jiro. He is much more like my current self. Extremely shy and passionate/affectionate but is very respectful. He's overly patient to a fault and holds a lot of responsibilities that he shouldn't be on his shoulders day to day. When he gets mad, he gets pissed. When he gets sad, he feels that extreme. He is most content with calm moments and atmospheres but enjoys joking on that hypebeast life. He works hard to accomplish to become Momobeda someday. I will work hard to one day accomplish to be worthy of being Momobeda. Properly this time.

So it's not a goodbye to Momobeda. It's more a "I'm going to see you someday, and I'm going to deserve to be you because I'm a better person."

I will be keeping the account name Momobeda. This is just a small note to others that may wonder on why I made Jiro. I hope you will accept him as he works to become the person he wants to be.
