When they met in the garage to watch "Attack of the Kaiju Girl", they expected a lot of innovative especial effects. The fact that she could break the fourth wall and come out of the film seemed like a good 3D effect, until they realized none of them was wearing glasses. That's when they started yelling and running around the garage in fear while the giantess looked on, not understanding that she was the reason.

Yeah, I was inspired by that scene! I had the idea of what would happen if a movie character crossed into the real world through a big screen: would they appear normal sized, or relative to the screen size? Then I saw the It movie and thought "Yeah, this is how it would probably play out"
