Gesture Part 2 - Jill

I have randomly decided to name her "Jill". She just looks like a Jill, dammit
Anywhoo, story behind this is simple. I had a gesture sketch sitting in my sketchbook. It's been there for a while, ever since our art teacher had us do some for one class period. Here I am weeks later, sitting in class, bored. But I'm also too tired to start a drawing from scratch (the boredom will kick in and turn it into complete lethargy)
So I look through my sketchbook, seeing if there's anything in there I could just finish up. And I run across this series of gesture drawings (this is just 1 of 4 we did then. First time for some peeps so we didn't do many at all), and picked this one out not totally at random. So I get thinking, and do what I did before when I did a quick gesture of a classmate, I bloody well transformed it into a sketchy thing (this took the last part of math class and all of poli sci)
Like the figure. Love the figure. Frankly, I think this is one of the most true-to-life things that has ever come off my pencil and I can't wait until I can get into life drawing courses :<
Legs are iffy. They are better than most of my pieces but still iffy. Hands are awful, and I know that.
I think the tail is too long. Probably got that way because of what I was trying to do with it. (Basically add some dynamic to the pose by making the tail come towards the viewer somewhat. But I overdid it >> )
Original model was not so daringly clothed. (She wore a hoodie. And jeans. When it was summer temps outside.)
Original model also probably has no clue anyone made anything slightly useful out of that gesture drawing
Original model = art classmate.
