Hey guys, another one already?? XD Due to only 28 days this month, it was time to put up the final one and in time for that matter. *whew* Let's get to it!
Perdomo Habano Connecticut:
Wrapper: Ecuador Connecticut
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Pre-Light/Construction:
From the pure sight of the wrapper, it was bright, shiny, and clean. Like a angel from heaven suited up in armor ready for the fight against hell. Even the band was like a royal crested shield in this aspect. The veins were a bit regular in size and the seems were present, but clearly packed and nicely rolled. Once I opened it from the wrap, the scent of massive cedar came out and spread. Clearly a nice scent before lighting up. Peppery Cedar for that fact. Let's light it up!
The Burn Part 1:
The first few puffs came into play with a massive amount of cedar, but with a light bit of bourbon notes, since it was aged in a bourbon barrel. A very nice and light beginning. A slight bit of light white pepper notes son came afterwords. I however was not getting a drink, so I just had water to cleanse my pallet for the review. The draw was nice and vibrant and the burn was even so far. Not much left until the 1st third ended.
The Burn Part 2:
The bourbon notes were getting a little thicker while the white pepper was getting more intense. The cedar notes started to dwindle a bit, but still had some flavor left from the retro hale. However some sweet earthy notes came into play to over power the cedar, giving it more of an herbal thing going. So far, it's still in the strong mild body, hitting somewhat near medium.
The Burn Final:
With the end coming near and the stick itself becoming a bit spongey There's only a couple of changes. The Bourbon notes have completely disappeared. Must've run it's course until the end. The Pepper started to calm down as the sweet earthy notes completely demolished, leaving no trace. As the final few puffs came, the final note to win as the victor was The Earthy notes.
Verdict:
Nice, calm, clean, and a real angel if cigars came from heaven. Great on any occasion whatsoever. Practically buy a box. :D
Next Month: Asylum Month. Time to get insane!
See you then!
