I know I am.
Interestingly, I found out that there is a large difference between #0 and #00 Buckshot recently. I also have a shotgun stock shaped bruise on my shoulder.

Still puts holes in things lol ^.^ I get shit so cheap when we're at the range they won't even cycle half the time >.< That's just the .22's though... We buy Wolf 7.62x39 that works good, I dunno if you have any experience with it, I heard it corrodes like a mother, if you have any input on that. I apologize for rambling >.<
I use Wolf 7.62x39 Steel Case almost exclusively in my SKS. The new stuff does not corrode and works rather well. It has harder primers that are safer for use in an SKS without a "fixed" firing pin. Any new manufacture ammo that you can buy on the US market does not have corrosive primers.
1911 has a new sear and sear spring, and a whole new mainspring assembly and housing to ditch that ILS junk. Was gonna put a commander hammer and beavertail on it, but the ones I got were apparently junk. Don't buy cheap gun show parts, I learn a little too late.
Yeah, the 1300 has that recoil assist- the pump starts a little bit on a shot. I found I actually like it, as I can pump it fast enough that I have a shell in the chamber as soon as my sights are back on target, allowing me to put shot downrange at a pretty impressive rate.

I'm still new to shotguns. I tried out #00, #0, and #1 while I was at the range. The #00 and #0 came from a bag marked "Misc Buckshot" at my local fun shop. The #1 was S&B. I have no idea why, but the #0 kicked a heckuva lot more than either of the others. I think I'll stick to #00 or #1. I mean, jeeze, it's buckshot. How picky do I need to be?
Fun stuff. Could be that the #0 was a hunting or varminting load, and the 00 was a reduced load. I've had some pretty powerful loads from S&B before, and it doesn't help that they don't always use proper wadding. I've been loading some .68 caliber balls, myself, and those are certainly fun, and a max load of powder with a fiber wad and some nice slug wads makes for an easy shooting round, too.
I really need to find a 1300 for myself. They're great guns.
