Well good god, it's about time I posted this character. I only drew her five and a half years ago. I've been really fine tuning her backstory and name to be honest.
Name: Tephra (Tephra are rock fragments and particles ejected by a volcanic eruption.)
Age: Mid 20s to Early 30s
Occupation: Full Time Expert Volcanologist / Part time Geologist
Gender: Female
Tephra was studying rocks when an Earthquake spreading across a 300 mile radius hit. The epicentre was an extinct Volcano, located on a small island 50 miles off mainland Adabat. The trouble is, this extinct Volcano, came back to life, erupting instantly and destroying the entire population within minutes. The eruption lasted for only an hour before the lava reseeded back into the magma chamber and there was no volcanic activity.
Intrigued and ignoring all warnings from her co-works and peers, she set off for that now molten rock covers Island and climbed up the side of the Volcano. The rock was stone cold and behaved like it had been there for decades. She peered down into the vent, to see if there was magma still in the chamber.
The Magma behaved erratically, shooting up out of the vent, and covering over her like a blanket, before returning back into the chamber.
Tephra was no more.
She became the mold for -
Iblis the Lava
Tephra was created for the sole purpose of being the shape/mold etc for my variation of Iblis (For one of my many stories were Mephiles and Iblis return), and I like the idea of Iblis taking the form of someone to become a much more "mobile" being, and also female but still able to transform into the huge Iblis we know from Silver's future.
Obviously there are some differences between them. Iblis doesn't have the glasses mold on her face, as Tephra's glasses flew off, as she was started from the lava shooting out the vents.
