After I drew that last picture for Carotte, I started pondering what Libbie was like younger, I came up with this little scene. It seems fitting that the strong coal miner that is Libbie started out on a family farm drinking milk to grow big and strong! The lady in the background is actually Lulu`s mother, searching for the little scamper who happens to be down in the right side of the image, stalking a kitty. She usually appears to be in human form but sometimes when she gets really exited and hyperactive, she turns into her canine form and runs around all over the place into the straw mounds, a literal needle in a haystack for her mother to find.
