they remind me of summer sunsets, where i grew up [and where i recently moved too, much to my delight], with the warm amber light, elements in the light and in the shade, both edged by that light. somehow, it all seems to soak in the light. blue as it is, it's capturing this amber dusk and reflecting it in its tone.
