Been frustrated with myself and others lately, so decided to take a break for personal work. This is Gambino, a Genasi Sorcerer adoptable I got from my wife, and whom I’m using in our new campaign. I had to come up with a backstory quickly so in the span of 60 seconds I wrote the following to Shrine:

He can’t taste the fire on his head so once he tried to lick a bonfire to see if it had a taste. It was a Phoenix. It was a bad idea. No one speaks of that night ever again. He has very low impulse control, and usually will learn a skill or trade solely out of spite in order to prank or fool people he dislikes.

Once he was asked why he doesn’t just set people on fire, and he explained he doesn’t feel they’re worthy of being set on fire. Plus it makes their suffering short. He loves marshmellows and thinks its a travesty if you roast them. He knows Rai. They don’t get along.

People think it’s a bad idea that he’s a messenger but he actually does really well at it, except for the part where he reads everyone’s messages so he can get a chance at setting it on fire if the message comes with a ‘Please destroy after reading’ note. As a result, he knows too much about people he shouldn’t, though he does little with the information unless it involves getting back at someone.

I don’t think I’ll be able to get rid of him. Ever.
