I needed to practice to paint digitally some long fur after realizing I have only painted doggies with really short fur. After few tries with another work in progress I realized trying to paint long fur with photoshop didn't work for me. I created this piece to test how I can create longer fur with paint tool sai's much more softer and more oil color like brushes. So far those brushes are working much better with me.

There's still a lot I need to learn to paint long fur. Especially with shading it. And that means more practice paintings with long fur doggies and wolfies in it.
