A little bit of a story.

Drake is a hybrid, born to a wolf father and a squirrel mother. When he was little, a group known as the Purifiers took over the world. Their goal, to preserve pure bred species and eliminate hybrids. Drake and many other hybrids were driven underground, where they continue to fight the Purifiers. Drake started as just another soldier on the hybrid side, but quickly rose in rank and became what many saw as the leader of the hybrids, although he never chose to command others. Instead he often takes it upon himself to face the enemy head on, by himself. Drake is not only a superb engineer, who can create his own weapons, tools and inventions, but the most skilled doctor amongst the hybrids. A lot of questions are asked about his medical ethics, as he is not afraid to turn to cruel and illegal experiments to find results for his own projects. He will even experiment on hybrids he is supposed to be protecting. But because to most people he is seen as a hero and a symbol of hope, the higher members of the hybrid resistance look over and cover up Drake's darker side.
