I've wanted to update Daemon for the longest of time and I finally got around to that! Overall, I feel this is a tighter design.
With thinner limbs, the silhouette is a lot stronger. There's more of an emphasis on hard edges to show off the artificial nature of the character. I officially decided the green thing is a jester-y collar and added a bit more androgyny with the eye-markings. I've also just gotten a bit more confident at art in general.
Aside from the design change, all of Daemon's abilities remain the same. You can check those out on the old reference here.

There are lots of other programs in Daemon's world like Admin, Kernel, Antivirus, Bloatware, etc. Every one looks completely unique and they don't necessarily have to be little lizard-y things like Daemon. Garbage Collectors are usually demonic in appearance but most of the newer ones are taller, thinner and less vibrantly-colored than Daemon. They look a bit like Giegue.
Alright, just make sure it looks very different from Daemon! No two programs in the Dataverse look very similar, which you can find a writeup of here. The only thing other daemons have in common is that they're kind of kobold-like. Dogrot's art of Giegue is pretty spot on.
