Here's the commission I did for Wild-Wolf.
Though the pose and the character design are pretty much standard, it was actually quite a bit of work and a little fight to get it ready: At first every time I tried to sketch it, it came out wrong, and when it had finally worked, it was hard to motivate myself for the rest, as it was nothing "revolutionary", which often makes doing it more interesting.
I had to redo the tattoos multiple times, because they looked totally wrong - I'm *absolutely* no tattoo artist, have never been and will never be - but in the end I think they came out okay. There is quite some work in them. I took inspiration from various maori tattoos I found on flickr & google images; I'm sure there is some symbolism behind that actually, and I got it totally wrong the way I did it, but researching that would've been much too much work. But still, at least he got his maori-*style* tattoos.
The shoulders were done so narrow deliberately: Wild-Wolf wanted an Anthro that was quite close to actual animal anatomy, meaning shorter hind legs, "real" front paws, etc., and to strengthen that look I gave him the deep-but-narrow chest and shoulders.
Apart from that... Background wasn't commissioned, but I felt like doing at least a simple one.
The image is quite large actually, and has lots of detail. But as FA doesn't let me upload big files, to see it in high rez, you could go to http://Runoratsu.deviantart.com/art.....Wolf-133179961 - there they're uploaded in resolutions up to 2.5k x 3.5k px.
Please no nitpicking criticism here, or I might explode , general critique is very welcome, though, as always.
