Realistic Shaded, Frame-Breaker Background Commission for

Kabibles featuring Anpu, the Dutch Angel Dragon!

Anpu's namesake is that of Anubis, one of the Ancient Egyptian gods of the Underworld, and maaan did I have fun with that concept! Though dark in nature, the god Anubis himself is benevolent, and I wanted to play with the contrast of that aspect by including a shadow, distorted form of Apep, the malevolent deity of darkness and chaos. Anpu may be guiding the soul to paradise, but should they fail at the scales of judgement, Apep is awaiting to devour them~
