Who wants to meet my Trollhunters oc?

Sheumais here is a Grendel, the troll species created by Ryseddheliwr on tumblr! His name is pronounced [Shay-mus], and he also answers to James and Hamish (if somewhat reluctantly)! He is a Changeling, though he doesn’t like to advertise that and spends most of his time hiding from Gumm-Gumms within his home community.

When not avoiding The Janus Order, or trying to hibernate until the sun goes dark, Sheumais can be found working as an etcher, both for tattoo-markings, and for decoration and jewellery!

He’s hella gay

The marking on his chest is shaped like a bat, because he loves them, and because as a whelp he tried to keep an entire colony as pets. It didn’t work, of course, but he still has a massive fondness for them as an adult.

He’s really shit at using magic, but is very good at sensing it. Usually, if he does, he turns around and walks the fuck away (”Nawh,” he says, Not Dealing With That Shit Today).

Before he decided Mmmnope to the Janus Order, his most recent human ‘life’ was as a ships surgeon in the British Navy. He was injured at one point, his thigh was fractured, and he had to pretend to have a limp for the next thirty-odd years.

Related, he tends to keep the same surname whenever he walks in the human world. The tartan corresponds, and he hates not wearing it.

Sheumais has a very thick brogue, and doesn’t even try to pretend otherwise unless he really has to.
