I've heard that there is a natural phenomenon like that. They're tornadoes that usually appear in forest fires where all that hot air moving around sometimes twists around. In the books I read them in they were nick-named Fire Devils.

Your recent original pieces are all awesome. I have no fear of fires or tornadoes, so this picture doesn't scare me, but it does look really damn cool. Even though they are made of wind, death, and fire, your stocky tornadoes have a lot of bulk and meat to them. They really look like bruisers, nothing elegant or refined, just pure natural savagery.

This was some seriously wicked stuff, and I still come back to them from time to time.

Following the particle tree I don't think...I've really had any fascinating tornado dreams. They're always about the scare factor now, always about running away from the damage. Still interesting subject matter, but there's something cooler about fire tornadoes that aren't going to murder you in your dreams, or particle collaborations, or even...hell, overwhelmingly huge blue tinted vortexes that one literally surfs out of.

You've still got my AIM, I'm around a lot less now because I finally got a real job, though.
