Felix was never much of a gamer. That was a title reserved more for his sister, Juniper. His sister loved video games, who would often drag him into playing them with her whenever she could. He didn’t really mind too much, and it made her really happy to be able to share her hobby with him.

Their parents had also played video games while growing up, though had slowly drifted from the hobby in time. As such, they possessed several older game systems that they managed to give to Juniper, helping foster her love of games.

However, when the Switch was released, they didn’t have enough money at the moment to splurge on the system, even though Juniper really wanted one. Felix himself was unemployed, though constantly trying to find a job with no luck.

Eventually stumbling upon a sweepstakes that was giving away a Switch, Felix entered it and managed to win against the odds. After a small wait, the console arrived and Felix began setting it up, much to the sheer delight of his sister.

Things ended up going awry very quickly due to the ShyJester Abra Chord, and Felix found himself – now herself – changed into a Switch-Dog, much to the shock and horror of both siblings.
