i'm a strong believer in not believing in art blocks
you might be having difficulty drawing, which can be caused by stuff like:
- you got frustrated with one or more pieces recently
- you forgot what you like about drawing
- you're not having fun
- you might not be trying new things ( making yourself really bored in the process )
- something else in your life needs your attention right now
- perhaps you're not drinking enough water and it's giving you brain fog ( no, really! )
etc.
what i mean is that what we call "art block" is kinda like a sad boogeyman that creeps up whenever you say you believe it. and believing in it makes it stronger since instead of trying to address the real problem(s), we create this powerful enemy in our heads that seemingly has no weaknesses
by actually tackling what's holding us back, or, at the very least, acknowledging it, we can then get back on track :>
try taking a breath! and, maybe, consider actually taking very regular breaks ( if you don't already ); it can be something like draw for 10 minutes and rest ( by doing anything else ) for 20. or any variation of that
hope this helps :]

Calling it by any other name still doesn't change what's going on. I do agree that finding the source and addressing that is helpful, but saying it isn't 'art block' is just wasteful hopelessly optomistic nonsense. Grinds my gears when people sanitize language, one of my major pet peeves. Call things what they are.
Something that blocks one's ability to create art is, simply, art block.

i'm not for sanitizing language
this is not sanitizing language, tho
there's no need to call "it" art block. because there is no "it"! that's what i mean
when treating the issue like it is an *art* block is counter-productive as it's something that often might not have anything to do with art; it's not that you're incapable of doing art, it is just that your mind isn't in the right place
"art block" might mean something to you, but, to me, it's just a term that makes people think and behave in counter-productive ways.
thought process being: "oh shit i'm art blocked. i can't do art. what's wrong with me? why does everything look awful? this isn't fun." etc.
when you're drunk, you're not "driving blocked", you just shouldn't drive and need to sober up before you can do so
you don't have "writer's block", you just might be going through a tough divorce or maybe someone stepped on your foot or whatever. it's not drawing, driving or writing. these aren't the problems. the problem is within the entity. the person that's looking to do *things*. chances are, someone who's "whatever blocked" would also have difficulty doing other things.
so, is it really art block? or do we just have issues we gotta work on in order to move forward and become stronger, more resilient versions of ourselves?

Calling it something else isn't going to change that thought process. When I get a block like that I'm not thinking 'Shit, I'm mentally blocked again, I can't do anything', I'm thinking 'What blocked me this time? How can I get around it?'. Which happens all the time, usually when I'm working on settlements in Fallout 4 but it also strikes me on RPH, when I'm working with my models, when I'm playing Garry's Mod. I'm no stranger to the situation, despite the total lack of submissions on my FA. I still call it what it is, though, I don't try to use some other term or whatever. I get mental blocks, and the I find a way to work around them.
It isn't what you call it. It's how you react to it. A rose by any other name is still going to stab your fingers with its thorns when you pick it up, and art block by any other name is still the inability to create art.
I have full confidence Koul will work around it, find a way to tear down that wall. That's what distinguishes a professional from a hobbyist.

like i said, to me, there is no it, so i'm not calling "it" anything. it's not a matter of being *ART* blocked, you just have *general issues* that cause you difficulty in completing certain tasks
though as humans are creatures that thrive in effective communication, i'll excuse the creation and use of these words to describe it. i'll still continue to find it pretty annoying since at the very least, the term misleads hordes upon hordes of misinformed artists and causes a lot of unnecessary discomfort
for example, i used to be severely depressed, but, once i stopped focusing and identifying with it, it went away. thoughts are like that. what you focus on, grows. so, for most people, focusing on "art block" creates a mental resistance. resistance makes stronger. and that's when people fall into those traps. that is why i won't call anything an art block. i'm not looking to give a concept any power over me

I don't draw much, anymore, but with my writing i get that a lot and I actually use people's art to help me write again, maybe you can use some stories or poems to help draw. https://lordtheobald.deviantart.com.....y-leg-55026604
that link is to one of my poems, Beaver stole my leg, if you get inspired, so be it. if not. well . . .

It's all good! You'll find your muse again soon enough. Perhaps exploring other things to do might help? Maybe throwing together a couple models or wasting time in Fallout? Tends to be what works for me when my mind locks up like that. Lately I've been working on a 1/12th Zis-150 RC truck model, been a wonderful release. So fun to drive it in the yard, too.
