Zuri is the third oldest child of the family. Her father was a Chandelure, but she never got to know him. Her mother however, took care of her, as well as her older two siblings Lacee and Zahkary. However her family only flourished from there on. Year after year, Zuri was soon introduced to new siblings that her mother would birth. While the two oldest siblings were uneasy, Zuri enjoyed it. She loves her large family; then and even now. Growing up Zuri experience an average life; while it wasn't perfect it wasn't the worst either. She was the target of bullies but thanks to her family she was often protected from. This is why she loves her large family; so much love.
Genetically Zuri got the short end of the stick. For some reason her genes were not as strong as her siblings, and when she evolved from a young Ralts/Litwick hybrid, she only evolved the Ralts half. Because of this, Zuri is incredibly weak. She's weaker than any Gardevoir in her family, and even some of her youngest siblings are stronger. Because of this, Zuri had developed a meek and shy personality. Extremely cautious and nervous, Zuri is often the quiet voice of reason amongst her family. Zuri enjoys reading and painting; quiet activities that she does alone. While shy, it doesn't mean she's antisocial. She just needs a push to get started.
Yep yep! This was the project I was thinking of. Why is it big? Well, I was inspired to make some Gardevoir characters thanks to the lovely art of
noriega, and my imagination stemmed off from there. I love hybrids, but I've done "perfect" hybrid species for so long. Why not something improper? Genetics aren't always in one's favor.
Don't worry, this family isn't completely full of hybrids. There's a wide variety in this huge family. I just hope I peaked some interest with this. How "huge" is this family exactly? Well, I wouldn't want to spoil it.
I also experimented some shading techniques and lighting effects. Let me know if you like. ^^
