About the beginning... I wanted to have some percussion in this, which was not made by the keyboard. All percussion has been played LIVE by myself.... :P

I didn't want the piano and pizz to sound "scary", anyway. It was more like "What the heck is happening here?" :D
And to be honest... it was not quite "planned", either. More impulsive! ^..^

incredible. listening to this song, i can see a battle raging in the land of COUVRANT. for the first hlf of the song, i can see GROUL and DEREK fighting side by side, cutting down all who stand in their way. About 2/3 of the way through, where it all of a sudden becomes quiet, i imagine a sort of tragedy occurring, maybe one of their fellow deffenders was slain, or one thought the other to have been killed in battle. Then, where the song picks up again near the then, I see the DEFENDERS either triumphantly returning from battle, or DEREK and GROUL resuming their valiant fight.

that it is. in my own opinion, i find wordless music to be more powerful than "traditional" music, if you will. instead of planting predetermined images of the author into one's mind, it lets the listener's mind roam freely to contemplate what might be happening.
