Time for Steam Up
Arriving at the depot on a fresh spring morning, awaiting the driver is his noble machine. Simmering quietly as steam leaks through the old fittings & damaged gaskets. She's an old girl but she can pull like the best of them. Huh, the cleaner's off sick again. No matter. Waiting only for the fireman with the urn & the work order for the day.
A little something different. As I'm a massive railway fanatic, I couldn't help but draw this scene. Really trying to capture the dirt & neglect of Britain's railways during the fifties & sixties. Never made anything look dirty before so hopefully this works well enough. What do you guys think of my efforts?
