Oh well, half kilometer drag races, so that's quarter of a mile plus another quarter. Drift is also common here, and Rally cross races. Also, the typical european tuner is oftenly associated to rave music... something that doesn't go with me (I listen to metal).

I had a Supra that I drifted once or twice ... too expensive. Rear slicks are $500 a pop. I love Rally. I've thought about making the Shadow a FWD snow rally car. It does really well on snow and ice.

Yeah... but get a good turbo first, you might have an Eclipse's engine, but ya need some features of the lancer to get nice results on rallying.

The final engine build will be the 181 punched over 30, a VNT turbo with intercooler, limited slip transaxle built on the stock bellhousing behind the stock 5 speed, and a three stage direct port nitrous oxide system with 50 in third, 75 in fourth and 125 in fifth. I'm having it built from the block up with the best parts Kamer & Kamer can get, and these guys know their Mopar engines. It'll be street and strip only though, with either Kumo or Hosier racing slicks on the front. (I've had good results with both of their soft drag compounds.)

But this will of course be several years and $10000 away.

Yeah, and 10 grand ain't easy to get.
