Restaurant Icons, Hatch New Mexico
Theres a wee hole in the wall town in New Mexico called Hatch, allegedly the Chili capital of New Mexico. Most folks don't know about Hatch, its along the southern route of Interstate 25 , north of Las Cruces.
But if traveling west from the 25, you can save roughly 80 plus miles and a good hour of travel if you take the 26 across to Demming and Interstate 10. And right off the 25 is Hatch.
And in Hatch is Sparky's diner, Sparky has a serious thing for old fiberglass drive in icons that were from old restaurants that no longer exist or changed through time.
This lot is across the street from the restaurant.

That looks amazing. I think the closest thing we've got to this in PA is the "big mac" museum somewhere along Route 30 between Gettysburg and Pittsburgh....out towards Flight 93 Memorial more so I think. It's basically a bigger McDonald's restaurant with historical small artifacts over the decades along with text highlighting the brand's history. Wonder where BK's is.
