This is the halfway-done version of a picture I'm drawing for a story I'm writing. So it's a double threat! You may or may not see the story submitted here (I'm a little shy about inflation stuff), but at least you get this.
I don't have a scanner available so I had to use a camera. That's why the colors are so weird. The paper is white in real life yet tan on the computer!?
I should probably say that I did use other pictures as reference for both poses/panels in the picture. The only thing I didn't use references for were the liquid canisters and boxes. And those suck, so what did we learn today?

We learned, much like all good artistry you need to start out with good reference. Copying is alright as long as its good, and after a time you find you wont need to copy anymore as you've gotten good enough to do your own stuff from scratch.
Next time I'd start out with better reference though. You should be copying stuff from Frank Frezeta or Dan Seagrave. Get better reference yield better results.
