I've been working on this project for a while, trying to come up with a way to animate a character so that it looks mostly the same as my normal drawing style while allowing for interaction and physics. Key features for this demo include: Skeletal mesh deformation, real-time jiggle physics, scriptable animation blending, magic donuts.
Thanks again to
samael for letting me use the drawing of Samelle I had done as a base for this experiment.

There may be some issue with running Unity on your hardware, especially if it is older, but unless I knew what hardware that actually was I wouldn't know what to search for.
If you would like to learn what you have, one quick way to do that is to look at the DirectX diagnostic program that shipped with your copy of Windows.
1. Hold the Windows key and press R to open a "run" window.
2. Type dxdiag
3. Press enter or OK
4. If a box pops up asking you to check your drivers you can say either yes or no, it doesn't matter for what we want to know.
5. In the "System" tab look for the field marked "Operating System:", which is the exact version of Windows you are running.
6. In the tab marked "Display" or "Display 1" look for the field "Name:", which is the name of your graphics device.
