It has been a long time...old friend."

A true friend stands the test of time. I love koi for their beauty and potential longevity. I used the concept of that for this piece. I gave the merkoi long hair to represent age. While his face is youthful, his locks tell of his time.
I experimented with coloring in Paint Tool Sai for this as well. I enjoyed the process.
