"How's this area?" Yoshi asked as he eyes the flat, grassy area around them.

Looking behind him, a brown T-Rex was carrying a basket containing the food they brought along their hike.

"I like it!" The larger male replied. "There's quite a few trees around here as well in case we need shade. Let's settle here for a little bit."

Not to mention it was away from the city, but not too far in case they needed to rush back.

"Wow, Doc, you got the really large hot dogs!" The green dino stated as Dr. Mario pulled out the portable grill from the basket. "You really can't settle for the small ones, huh?"

"Considering they barely fit in my hand now, you can say that~" Doc replied. "Plus, you need to eat more. You're perfect the way you are, but I've seen how much you put on your plate, and it's not nearly enough for a healthy diet. Proportions are everything, Kid."

Yoshi let out a dreamy sigh.

Dr. Mario was so caring and charming to him, nothing like his parents.

"As long as I'm watching you, hospital food isn't the only thing goin' in ya."

Yoshi couldn't help but blush a little after that statement.

Yeah, he may of developed a crush on his doctor.

"Keldeo!"

The two of them halted their activities after hearing that.

"Keldeo! Where'd you go?!"

The two dinos looked at each other.

"Kel-"

Suddenly a man walked out into the field they were in, and the three of them all paused as an awkward silence commenced.

"Over here!"

This time the voice came from somewhere else, and soon another person entered the clearing. This person smaller than the last, and the larger male soon found himself running to the smaller one and giving him a hug.

"Kel, I'm glad I found you." The canine male stated. "You're not hurt are you?"

"Kamui, I'm fine." The smaller equine male replied. "It seems Falco brought us to another dimension. First Incineroar, and now this guy. Man, some people just don't care about the rules of dimension travel."

"Well, if it wasn't for Falco, I wouldn't have met you~" Kamui replied back, petting his head. "But you are correct. This situation is a bit troublesome. We should ask for directions for someone who could help us. Or maybe see if Falco is still in this world somewhere."

The two outsiders then approached Yoshi and Dr. Mario.

"You two seem to be in a bind." Doc said. "Hungry?"

Doc wasn't one to turn a blind eye to those in need.

However, Yoshi would be lying if he said a few new friends would be bad.

Yeah, funny story,
The pics I posted before this one are made by the same artist, but I actually ordered this com first.

I was in a YCH with Waffle, and this other guy and i were having a bidding war to get the slot with Waffle.
I lost, so I went to the artist who made this and told him to put it on hold since it was a Zangoose emergency and I needed a pic with Waffle for Zangoose day!
He actually worked really fast, like wow.

Anyway, it's canon to me that Mario from Super Mario Odyssey is actually Dr. Mario.
I like to think this because in almost every cut scene, Mario has this pissed look on his face that's similar to how non-amused Dr. Mario's smash icon is.
More on that later though.

Also I really wish I had a hotdog that big right now...
