The recently-detected Gluttony Virus is a peculiar infection with three noteworthy effects: One, the infected Digimon gains unprecedented cooking talents, to the point that they can pull food out of thin air with a mere thought. Two, the infected Digimon is unable to consume regular food, yet still requires nutrition somehow or they will starve. This is where the third effect comes in: The infected Digimon is able to absorb excessive weight data from other Digimon by holding them in their bellies. In other words, fat gained from overeating is transferred to the infected, keeping them fed while doing no real harm to the other Digimon (Other than perhaps a scare or two.) Therefore, infected Digimon are known to stuff a victim to the brim, then make that Digimon their next meal. After absorbing the weight data, they are let go soon after. The Gluttony Virus is not easily spread; typically it only infects anyone by the will of the infected, and this is rarely done since it would remove a potential meal.
