Seven years ago today, when I was far from home, I received a phone call telling me that my father was gone. From that moment I always wanted to write something for him, but I never found the right words or the right melody to do so.
Some years later I heard this song for the first time, and it blew my mind: it was pure, emotional and it seemed perfect to describe what I had inside, and that's why I decided to do this cover.
