Just an ending to that first school day for these two.

Canine and Feline
End of School Day
Once the introductions were finished, it was time to get to work with introduction of what would be worked on. Nothing too hard since it was just the first day even if it was the second grade. Then a few hours latter it became noon. Jack and Yuki had their lunches and choose a spot in the cafeteria. It was a bustling place with all the young kids up to the fourth grade in here. The two vulpine chatted about various things while eating. Once the food was consumed, it was outside and onto the playground.
"Come on!" Yuki stated, leading the way.
Jack just followed with a smile. The two found a basketball to play with even if the hoops were short things with a hole at the top. The son of Nicholas and Topaz was on the bit of the athletic side and liked to do things like this. "Got it again!" he stated five minutes latter after making his tenth shot into the top.
"Good moves; let's see you try this!" the other male said.
"Well that does look like fun," went a familiar voice.
They turned and saw Rachel watching them. "Rachel," Jack stated.
"Maybe I can give it a shot," the bob cat commented.
"You?" Yuki asked.
"Well why don't you try me?" she shot back and motioned for the ball. The vulpine tossed it to her. The feline moved and to both of the guy's shock, this female had moves and got the ball in.
Rachel turned with a smirk. "So then… how's that?"
"Wow, that's amazing!" Jack stated. She blushed but smiled. "How'd you do that?"
"Oh I have some practice with my dad. Just a little."
"Hey Rachel!" went another female voice. The three looked to see another of the girls in their class waving to her. "We're ready over here!"
"Sorry, I've gotta go," the bob cat said. "We should try this again though!"
Yuki and Jack watched her run off. "Well who would have guessed," the first vulpine said. The second just stared at her for a bit before the two continued.
The lunch period then ended and it was back to the class. The rest of the day went by without incident. At around four, Nicholas was there to pick up Jack. To the little vulpine's surprise Rachel's dad Mr. Wikor came to pick her up. "Hey dad!" she said and ran up to him with her backpack.
"Have a good day?" he asked and she nodded.
"Good to see you again," the father vulpine said to the other one. He then looked to his son. "You have a good time to?"
"Yes dad," Jack replied. "Rachel actually was good at basketball during lunch today?"
"Oh really?" her father asked and his daughter nodded.
"Well you can tell me about it latter," Nicholas commented. "We need to get you home." The four said their goodbyes since the kids would be back here tomorrow. Despite Rachel having been in his class, Jack didn't mind since the bob cat had shown what she could do at lunch and looked forward to tomorrow with her.
