i always think it's kind of magical when the subject of a drawing/painting really appears to be looking directly at the viewer. it's not SUPER rare, but also not super common either, and almost never done with quite this much skill outside of your art it adds this deep, knowing, mystical quality, like that tiger is actually looking right into your soul
