What I find interesting, having watched your art for a while, is that you "Live your lighting". Where ever you live is what your lighting looks like.
When you were still in the UK, it was all overcast lighting, and muted colors. After spending time in the sun, things brightened up and yoru contrast got heightened. Now in the woods, yoru stuff "looks like the woods" with the saturated colors and low key schemes, but shafts of high contrast sunlight. Very nicely done.
