Ok, still a work in progress, but the tail now has a spine! I now can wear it... rather uncomfortably- i'm working on that. Its very heavy, but its effect when i walk is great, and as you can see, a decent swing of the hips= decent swing of the tail.

Video of me crashing about just as i finished getting the spine in. these pics were taken after a few modifications.
I dont know how i'm going to cover this... but i'm going to start by making it a polyester sock- so that the spine etc will have a slippery surface and wont catch... then i can add some other covering of my choice... who knows- i may just attach scales to the polyester! End less possibilities!

The problem with it is it tis heavy as shit and i cant mount it right on my bottom. I'm debating finishing it at all just for the sheer weight of it. I'm not sure of lighter supplies that would also hold up.. maybe yoga matting with foam in it? Idk.
I would have to show you how to make one of the links- cause i did it very specifically and its hard to describe. But I would be happy to show you how in the near future if i can. ... I will try to make a youtube video. because that is conviennient
Sadly my production with my theater troupe is coming up soon and I wont have free time. But over thanksgiving break i can take some, and over winter i should be bothering you too! :3
