So I found a tutorial on how to model a character on Youtube. I've seen many others but I found this one guy's to be worthy of my attention. He doesn't like to use the mirror modifier but he seems to do a good job. I managed to get the far but haven't progressed much since. It's mostly because of the 10-hour days at work and finishing up my own pics. I poke at it, experiment with changing things and learning as I go. I may start with a fresh one since some very minor things got messed up

Well, pretty much all of my backgrounds were either made with Photoshop's 3D or Sketchup. I'm only beginning to pic at Blender but what it can do put's Sketchup and Photoshop to shame.
My problem is that I'm jumping into different categories of 3D modeling in Blender before even mastering the basics. If you look in the 3D folder I made, you'll see a few things that I've done with Blender. All of the tutorials I've watched on scenery look pretty damn good but there's a lot to learn to make them.
I do need to focus on Blender more. Sketchup has plugins to do more organic modeling (hills, grass, trees and such) but if I made them too intense Sketchup slows down so bad it's almost unusable.
Also, I gotta have you do a pic for me. Perhaps involving Gill.

I like how he did it but he doesn't like to use the mirror modifier. Over the past few years I was off and on with Blender but more recently, I've started to develop in interest in it. I wanted to get 3DS Max but it's got a decent price tag whether it be buy or subscription.
This model I made, thus far, doesn't even have the butt crack or that vertical back indent.
I take an "art vacation" in April except for my birth week late in the month. For the most of April, I intend to go whole hog on at least trying to either finish this model or start a fresh one but make it not too gender specific so it's be a base model to build from.
I may even try to model this alien of mine since she is relatively simple, https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20818285/

I've been doing 50-hour work weeks in addition to doing my own pics, which really take a long time because of the work hours.
I maybe do an hour of practice a week with Blender.
