*Repost blurb: Realized that I had made an error on Ahsoka's Rebel look with the wrong Lekku and wanted to fix that with the proper look. This also gave me a chance to do some minor outfit edits and some color/textures changes I wanted to do later, namely the color change of the other Lekku to reflect the white/blue of her tails. I left the original up so people can compare: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/26668992/ because I know many like that sorta thing :D

A short while ago, Star Wars Rebels season 4 came to an end with one of the deepest closings of any Star Wars media. It really tied up some things nicely (though still leaving other questions open, but that's for another time) and it had me more than a little choked up. The title will make more sense to those that have watched it to the end. While Rebels didn't quite have the epic story of Clone Wars, it does have the largest impact when dealing with the loss of loved ones. Though, like Clone Wars, the series (much like the characters from both series) has matured over the years and had taken itself much more seriously right up to the end. I did want it to be less episodic and more like Clone Wars, but I suppose that there's a lot to cover in the years up to Ep.4. The only downside is we never actually get to see their involvement with the Rebels during Rogue one, but there are a couple minor points where they make direct reference to it just before Rogue One is supposed to happen.
I wanted to finally release some final versions of my own take on Ahsoka, one character that (like Darth Vader) has become one of the most popular and recognized characters in the entire franchise.
I first start out with a mixed version of her season 1 and season 4 looks: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5407342/ , but I was never truly happy with it. What's interesting was by the time I made her, Clone Wars was well on its way through the seasons and I had never actually watched it, I just knew she was popular. That's literally how popular she was.
Not much changed until just a couple years ago when I stumbled upon her Clone Wars Lekku: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22469531/ This changed EVERYTHING. By this point, I had bought the entire series of Clone Wars only a few months earlier and binge watched the entire thing (shows how long I waited to watch it). And so I started out updating her look to finally get the proper Ahsoka I always wanted to make.
Her Rebels look (on the right) actually came before her season 4 outfit (middle) because at the time I didn't have that outfit, but someone had made that and I adapted it to my figure. For her Rebels outfit, it's not truly show accurate (again, no outfit exists), but for what I had to work with, I think I did pretty well considering. Besides, I'm sure people actually CHANGE their clothes once in a while :P
I really wanted to show a progression of not just her age and attire, but also her attitude. Seasons 1-3 show her as the spunky, youthful Padawan that will do anything to prove herself and is still naive to what is going on around her. Seasons 4-5, she's wiser and more serious, ready to do what it takes to win against the enemy. Finally the stout and centered mature former Jedi who has seen it all and lived to tell AND teach about it.
So now I have a full collection of our silly orange Togruta Jedi for an entire era of Star Wars. There are still some tweaks I want to make, some textures need fixed and some adjustments to outfits, but overall they are finally finished.
I know this blurb was kinda long winded, but Rebels holds a place in my heart much like Clone Wars has for many others that watched it unfold as it happened. You grow to love the characters and want to see them succeed, but sometimes that doesn't always happen. Not everything that happens is a victory and I think that while Rebels was much lighter on the story telling and was obviously aimed more at a younger audience, what most people forget is that Star Wars in general has become something more than just "space wizards and laser swords". It has become a story about family, one of the most important things in life. While Lucas never truly intended for it to be about family, what he created has evolved in such a way that without that, Star Wars would have much less meaning.

We shall see *nods* Though, I think of anything that was never explained, I'd like to know what happened to Ahsoka in the Sith Temple, that one was just kinda shoved under the rug and beaten with a broom until it stopped moving and was forgotten. The way they ended it made it seem like it took her seven years to get out. How did she get out, what did she do in there, etc?
yup ;) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22529357/
