This is Ra'kel, a goblin mage. In my fantasy universe setting thing, goblins are between 1.2m (4') and 1.8m (6') tall on average, have skin that varies between shades of Red, Yellow, Green and Blue, have wild hair which is frequently dyed different vibrant colors (though black is a common natural hair color), and can vary between different levels of physicality similar to other species, meaning there's lean, athletic, obese, stocky and musclebound varieties.
Ra'kel is the athletic muscular type, while boasting some profound magical abilities! He went to Arcane Seminary with Brandur and became friends with the nord mage, eventually meeting Bartholomäus and becoming close friends with the beastman. In the end, Brandur and Ra'kel become somewhat interchangeable, so that one or the other can have fun times with Bartholomäus, depending on which mage is more popular.
...and if you haven't seen this image before now, then you still haven't looked at the art stuff I put on my Twitter page...!

Nupe! I'm definitely trying to be a bit creative with some of my character species and whatnot—I want to create a fantasy world that's both recognizable and unique, and with the advent of the internet, it's super easy for folks to make fantasy universes that have unique elements! Buuuut it's also easy to create something that's just a model of something else, with a different name.
I'm trying to keep things familiar enough for people to be invested in, but unique enough to offer something that can't quite be found elsewhere. So tall, rainbow-colored Goblins these have become!

I think that thanks to the internet, a lot of small writes and artist finally can make their stories and reach other people, without need to write a super best seller or some fancy thing. Of course there is a lot of shit out there too, but is way more accecible to find things that you like that you would never be able to find offline.
