What a beautiful and powerful gryphon! Where did you get the inspiration for his name. and does he have a backstory planned?

Thank you so much for the compliment! That is so nice of you to say. I have a huge interest in mythology, so his name is actually the name of a monster from Mesopotamian mythology that was depicted as a large bird (or a lion-headed eagle). I'm still messing around with his backstory. I know his home base is Australia, as that is where pink cockatoos tend to be native to, but I know he has a bit of wanderlust and ends up in weird places. You may have caught on to the fact he's a bit goofy, too. Just cause griffins tend to be tied to nobility and wealth in mythology, I'm leaning towards the idea he was a beast that was once captured and chained in order to protect a king's trove. After a couple of centuries he broke free and became mistrustful of civilized races because of his experience.

He spends most of his free time puffing out his crest and shrieking when he's angry. Just like a real cockatoo, I suppose. He's a goofy boy. Thanks for the interest!
