That's Guff's pet, Catnipper! Unfortunately they haven't had a much screen time or an in-comic explanation yet. Long story short, I made The Junk Hyenas Diner as part of my thesis project to get an MFA in cartooning. While in school, I worked on a group project where me and a friend creating a monster called a Catnipper plant. I decided to borrow my co-creation and put a miniature version into JHD. :3
