In the midst of working on a bunch of different stories at once; a commissioned story, another Reptile & Dycondro story, and another story with another new character, all of which are about half way done, on the fly, I thought about writing up a different kinda vore story involving the Lizalfos enemies from Zelda.
Usually, in my vore stories, you have a good guy / neutral pred and deserving prey. Never evil pred or innocent prey, because I don't like sadism or killing innocent characters. In this case, the predator is an OC Lizalfos, and the prey is Link himself. On most vore stories I've read, however, it's usually a struggle to stay alive or make a predator sick. In this case, I wanted to actually create a sorta 'stalemate,' where both the good guy and the bad guy are trying to outlast the other.
So, what we have here is a vore story with a "To be continued" storyline. I'll leave the rest for the story to cover.
CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: BELLY ACHES, BELLY RUBS, BLOATING, BURPING, HICCUPS, VORE (NON-FATAL)
Not your thing? Steer clear. If this yo thang. Enjoy!

Which raises the question, what does Bossall gain from keeping Link in his belly once he learns the kid isn’t going anywhere? I mean, yeah, having a full belly probably feels nice, but all the struggling would probably get really nauseating after a while. Not to mention there’s no reason Link would give in and take off his tunic, so Bossall’s gonna experience a lot worse than a minor inconvenience...
Oh man, now I really want to see how this all turns out. I can just imagine the grumpy dialogue between the two...especially if Bossall tries to annoy Link as much as he can to gain some kind of victory, laying on top of his gut, eating and drinking while Link’s still in there, etc.
Good writing and looking forward to the next installment. One thing that didn't make sense to me though was Link's ability to keep breathing normally in the cramped confines of a stomach that has repeatedly been burped of its existing air. Perhaps the lizardman was deliberately gulping down more air to insure the human suffers from being digested alive, (so perhaps you might mention this), but would obviously stop providing air once learning that he swallowed a magical object that will supposedly prevent his ability to digest him.
I suppose we have to just accept this is based on a cartoony children's video game and roll with all of the inherent implausibilities, though given the Lizardman's intelligence, one has to wonder why he wouldn't have stripped Link of his magical garment before ingesting him. Even if he didn't realize it had magical properties, any clothing or footwear could cause a dangerous intestinal blockage, not to mention small weapons, poison vials, magical items, etc. that could be hidden in the garments so any predator in a fantasy world with more intelligence than a bullfrog would almost certainly strip any human prey naked before ingesting them. This would not only be prudent for health reasons, but would humiliate the human victim all the more, and especially so if they prey some kind of dangerous 'hero' as the Lizardman acknowledges.
It would also be logical for the lizardman to subdue both human and animal prey swallowed whole and alive by the quick and simple snapping of their limbs like they were just so many twigs with his far greater physical strength. This would be an obligatory, even reflexive and instinctive part of the act of feeding on whole prey we would expect every lizardman to be taught as a hatchling. Even a simple bird often pulls of the legs of larger insects that may trouble their stomachs, so when a highly intelligent creature like a dragon doesn't, and the hero kills it from the inside, it just shows how dumb these kind of video games, and b fantasy novels where this invariably occurs, really are.
Thanks for sharing, and hope we will see a sensible, non-video game type outcome to this story!

I actually thought about that, and were I not short on time, I would've addressed the air thing. But in a nutshell, tunics provide oxygen to those who wear them. See, in addition to providing Link with the ability to not burn to ash, the tunic provides the necessary oxygen for Link to breathe in such unGodly climate conditions. Similar to how the Water Tunic allows Link to breathe underwater. So even with Bossall burping as much as he is and will continue to, the Tunic itself provides just enough oxygen for Link to breathe amidst incredibly scorching temperatures.
As for the striping and not snagging of the limbs, that can be jotted down to simple taste. I don't do nudity for any reason in any of my stories and don't do extreme violence either, as I don't put an emphasis on suffering for any reason in my stories. Those elements are a bit more realistic, but they're just not elements I've any interest in writing in any of my stories.
Thanks for the feedback, dude! Hope the next segment delivers!

That makes sense then why he wouldn't suffocate, and the magical generation of fresh oxygen would likely be one of the causes of Bossall/s continuous burping. He likely would have never burped so much in his life as he has since ingesting Link and the magical tunic.
