A - delayed - commission for
Gazy of their sergal diver, Gazy!
As a henchman for Helena he is exploring a sunken ship in hopes of finding valuable military equipment; the black market is always hungry ...
Finishing this one took a bit longer than expected, as I scrapped the first, fully inked pose in favour of a new, more dynamic one - glad I did! - aand doing it again but with the background. The original corridor was horizontal and too clean for a ship that is supposed to be lying on the bottom a reef ... again, I'm glad I changed it as this is waaaay more fitting for the atmosphere I was aiming for. ;w; Man, gotta think through my first sketches a bit more.
- many thanks to Feranta for some helpful tips on them sergal feet - <3
Hope you'll likey!

I do likey! I likey very much! owo
But seriously, I'm having trouble even finding the words to describe how well this turned out. I think the combination of the dynamic pose and the background really makes the entire image come together I think.
And thats not even getting into the rest of it!
Lookeet the lighting!
And the shading!
And the anatomy!
And the details! My god... the details! <3

Ah, you can download it on the official site as a regularly updated beta, and use your old serial key; it's a free update.
Hmm, some huge changes are; it being in 64 bit, much bigger brushes - up to 5000 instead of 500, perspective tools and having the same layer blending modes as PS. It's worth a check!

You can keep the original SAI, nothing is overwritten. It uses SAI2 formats, but can read old SAI ones, and it can save into PSD so there no compatibility issues.
As for stability, I never ever had a crash with SAI2. Only had issues with SAI 1.1 when it ran out of memory because of the 32 bit limit, but that happened like, 2-3 times since I've been using it.

Thank youuu <333 Gad, so happy this one turned out as I imagined ;w;
Yiss, I love them a looooot ;u; Especially when I get to do a full body one, so the chara is within that environment o3o
I have a soft spot of industrial, rusty settings, so this was perf, but wanna do some stone walls / wooden structures as well sometime in the future -w-
