Fire - the element of warmth and heat, the opposite of Ice. The element of what comprises the eruption of a volcano, the searing heat of a desert and the comfort of fireplaces and campfires.
Ice - the element of frigidity and coldness, the opposite of Fire. It dominates the merciless blizzards, the cruel cold domain of the polar regions yet it also gives us refreshments if used moderately.
Volt - the element of electricity and lightning, the opposite of Water. This is what made up the roars during storms, what runs through wires on modern technology and what gives them power to stay running. Although dangerous, it can be tamed if treated well.
Water - the element of moisture and the ocean, opposite of Volt. It fully dominates the running rivers, calm lakes, vast seas, deepest oceans, and the dim rain that falls. A every important element that all thriving civilizations prioritize first and foremost.
Wind - the element of breeze and the sky, opposite of Earth. An element that is free and unbound, brings forth gentle breeze or even a harsh storm. It makes the vast skies its home, helping migrating birds on their voyage.
Earth - the element of rocks and soil, opposite of Wind. Sturdy, strong, and resilient, an element that composed the ground we stand on today. It made the mountains that stood tall or the canyons that cut deep. Although the other elements wear it down, it always find a way to reuse its remains.
Plant - the element of forests and trees, opposite of Metal. Anchored onto the ground, it made up the forest and dense jungles, the gardens people tend to, the flowers the bloom with its fragrance, and the fruits and vegetables we eat.
Metal - the element of ores and minerals, opposite of Plant. Buried deep underground, very sturdy and durable. Once melded to make weapons, armors and currency in times past, now it made the praised alloys and industrials we use today.
Brute - the element of the body and physical state, opposite of Psyche. The crucial element for physical presence, also representing physical strength and discipline. This is what anchors you to be tangible and physically present.
Psyche - the element of the mind and mental state, opposite of Brute. The critical element for mental awareness, also representing mental fortitude and intelligence. This is what makes us self aware and to communicate with sense and logic.
Poison - the element of toxins and venoms, opposite of Void. This element is meant to harm the body mostly, making up the defense mechanisms of some creatures. Ironically, this element is the progenitor of medicines and its various somatic study.
Void - the element of nothingness and emptiness, opposite of Poison. This element is meant to harm the mind mostly, it's sheer emptiness and hollowness can drive one mad in insanity. Oddly enough, this element causes the spring and growth of psychological studies.
Time - the element of passing seconds and days, opposite of Space. An element that eternally flows, never stopping, unchanging. Its beginnings are a mystery but so as its end. Itself and all other elements are bound by the laws of time and must abide.
Space - the element of placement and displacement, opposite of Time. An element that is forever in entropy, flexible yet constant. Where it starts and where it ends seem to be unknown as of now. Itself and all other elements obey its laws of territory.
Darkness - the element of the night and shadow, opposite of Light. When a light shines, a shadow is casted somewhere, always. A very misunderstood element, sheltering all those who are harmed or thwarted by the light. Often misconceived as the element of evil and malevolence.
Light - the element of day and lumination, opposite of Darkness. When a shadow is casted, a light shines somewhere, always. A very ill praised element, home to those who fear or hated the darkness. Often misconceived as the element of good and benevolence.
Ghost - the element of death and negativity, opposite of Energy. The element that makes up sorrow, anger, hatred and grudges, things that bind the soul in the burden of despair, becoming the undead or unrested.
Energy - the element of life and positivity, opposite of Ghost. The element that makes up happiness, calmness, love and forgiveness, things that set the soul free from heavy chains of despair, becoming unbirths for the next life.
Moon - the element of ideals, dreams and illusions, opposite of Sun. The element that happily roams during the night, progenitor of deceit and trickery. With Ghost and Darkness, they form the Deathly Triad.
Sun - the element of truths, realities and facts, opposite of Moon. The element that watches over the day, progenitor of honesty and fairness. With Energy and Light, they form the Lively Triad.
Star - disputed to be an 'element', embodies normality or neutrality in which majority of anything started out as being neutral or normal, not favoring on any element what so ever as it is and as some might even debate it to be an element on its own. It is even debated to be the opposite of another special element, Prism.
Prism - argued to be an actual 'element', embodies perfection or the best of everything in which only a minute minority can achieve such feat. Having every trait of every element without the opposites clashing and negating each other, this has been debated to be its own element for a long time. It is even debated to be the opposite of another special element, Star.

I was basically thinking of why nyot just split things of what we naturally 4 main forces Gravity, electromagnetism, weak nuclear force, strong nuclear force. have pretty much alchemy v energy(electromagnetism and weak nuclear force) takes care of earth wind water fire metal lightening light heat cold ect basically all that stuff then course Nature takes care of biochemistry plants altering body parts regineration transformation Death goes with Ghosts condensate(substance inbetween material and energy) and I think you get the gist
