A last look at my wooden steam team
If you guys read my journals (but let's be honest no one does), you'd know That I just moved and that I was considering selling my Thomas wooden models and getting Bachmann Thomas instead. And by reading the title you most likely know what choice I made.
It's kinda hard to see what was left of my post-childhood go, but I have reasons for my decision. Now that Thomas wood has been introduced, it will become harder and more costly to get ahold of more Thomas wooden railway items. I'm not sure that I want to spend a lot of money just for some common wooden railway items. I know how eBay works. The only cheap thing Bachmann ever did (as far as I know) was make grumpy diesel instead of a new engine (let's be honest it should have happened when they first released him). It may be hard to get some bachmann items (*cough* salty *cough*) but at least I know I will be getting my money's worth. (lest Mattel decides to strip Bachmann of their license to make Thomas items) I wish I could sell my items on this site, but I don't quite know how to do that, sorry. So as you most likely get by now, this will be the last picture I'll ever take of my Thomas wooden collection.
Question to my viewers: what is the hardest thing you had to let go of? Let me know in the comments
