Hm... 4th edition, hun?
My RPG group migrated to 4thEd recently. I didn't like some stuff at first (we used to play 3.5E, and 4thEd didn't have Sorcerers or Bards [OR CATFOLK >_<] at first, so I couldn't migrate any of my old characters...), but then I got used to it and actually I kinda liked it. Still... 4th edition looks so much like Warcraft now >.>'
I play as a shifter ranger (longbow, stealth-style), Nirai Huraj (this one here) and I'm loving it x3

I personally enjoy it cause i was used to play second edition. I wasn´t interested to play 3.5 cause i saw it so much complicated, but then i relaized that 4th edition is simpler and faster and i liked it. Also you can haave those cathegories in the nexts books that will be coming out and you don´t have to buy new books with each edition.
But most of all i think is pretty quick and simple, so much enjoyable and fun, makes all the action more fluid.

Yeah, I found it simpler too. I was the first one in the group to test the new system in a combat scene (a solo fight with an old character from our group. Swordmage, 7th lvl, same level as my character). It was WAY faster, and the combat's mobility was way different from the previous edition. The combat flows faster, more frenetic. Way more fun, I have to admit o.o (and I could kill that damn mage in 3 rounds \o/ yay for 4 attacks in a round)
Also, I never thought I would actually use the whole scene map while moving around, getting distance and evading attacks O.o. In 3.5 I was used to stand ground, only moving a few squares. The new system is way more fun in that sense too
And yeah, the new books brought the old classes back, along with plenty of new ones (and some neat equipment... yay for night vision googles, stealth camouflage and silent footpads). Too bad they still don't have a new Races of the Wild rulebook... so I can't use the catfolk species until they release it again in the 4thEd.

Wooo D&D :D Dang, wish I could read Spanish(?) >.<;
Me, I love both 3.5e and 4e. 4e is so sexy and streamlined and tight, and really indulges the sort of "magepunk" style I enjoy. OTOH 3.5e is way more complicated, but so deep! And has so much room to expand. I don't care for Dragonborn and 4e Tieflings, but nor am I interested in half-orcs or gnomes... my group plays with a shedload of homebrew races anyway (most of them furry :p) so I'm happy either way ^^
I will say that trying to design new stuff for 4e is tricky >.<
