This is from 2001!
I was digging some old backups and found my ancient works.
It's a strange experience... I know I improved somewhat, but I know it's far from I would had developed if I listened to the critics or believed less than I was a really good artist already and keep up a lot of practicing.

I got that feeling, having similar situation here. ( I post artwork elsewhere here so it seems BS)
But that's why you should really keep on going, your passion especially. Constructive critics benefits but not all applies; and having confidence is also important.
It's like learning martial arts, the moment you don't think you are going anywhere, yet if you look back, you'll be amazed how far you've made it. Heck, two years ago I started boxing and it was one hella torture. Now I might not even close to amateur boxer but enjoyed every lesson I partake!
Just keep doing it and do trust yourself, I am still waiting for that comic of yours!
