Kade: But...but...but who will force you to eat until your so massively fat you can't move in any capacity whatsoever? Who will cleanse the land of the horrors of abs? How will keep the bricklayers and thatchers and woodworkers in business when the god folks don't need to contact them weekly to widen the doorways of their homes or build sturdier furniture?
The Simpsons also did an episode of this in season 4 episode 20, saying that Wacking day was a sham because back in 1924 it was used as an excuse to beat up Irish immigrants. (Their history, while the actual event in our history has been around since the 17 century.)
