I remember the Simpsons covering this holiday in the 4th season of the show and revealing the American side of it during the early 20th century. So I do agree with this guy downwith that day!

Actually, Ireland was without snakes long before St. Patrick. The "snakes" were actually the pagan druids that opposed Patrick missionary efforts.
